I'm going to drop some video footage here, but I urge you to look at the original posts on Anderson Free Press here and here to see the comments from the local citizens. (Anderson has gained some national attention lately...)

The footage is of Gene Cox (a weekend anchor for Fox 59 News) interviewing Anderson Mayor Kris Ockomon on his first day in the office. The resulting clip Fox ran was around 60 seconds, I think. (Might have been 90...)

These were edited quite a bit, with some of it taken out. I was using a Kodak EasyShare something or other on video mode. Lots of thoughts about the day. Perhaps if one or two kind ladies or gentlemen out there leave a comment, I could be compelled to tell the whole tale...
