I’m hearing rumors about this from a few sources. It’s interesting to me in a way. I always figured The Star Press would be shut down and moved to Indy. That said, The Star Press and several other Gannett papers in the area are running without local publishers. So who knows what they’re up to at the moment.

Anyway, if you’ve heard of Gannett starting newspapers in the recession, I’d love to hear about it.
