Muncie Mega Auction Launches!

I don't know when exactly, but sometime recently The Star Press' homepage was invaded by a slim banner for the Muncie Mega Auction, a thinly branded auction site of some type. Good luck with that.

In other news of the sad variety, Larry Riley, my faculty adviser at Ball State University, has started blogging for The Star Press. Stings a little, but it's good for him to be blogging. I imagine it's tied to his column there. I can't pay him what he's worth now, let alone all the experience he's built up over the years.

As I said, though, best of luck to him with blogging! His first post is good, outlining his rules. Will be interesting to watch if nothing else.

Lots of stuff going on in my world, but no time to really talk about any of it at the moment. Did give a few words to Matthew Ingram today for his blog. Would love some thoughts on the thoughts.

hmm. looks like

local advertisers. maybe they're onto something. if nothing else, while they're concentrating on that kind of stuff, they're missing other things - other crumbs i can pick up and pile up.

Muncie Auction in Google

they're nowhere to be seen for search terms like 'muncie auctions' in google at least. no adwords buys either. they're not thinking online 100%, imho. to my advantage, though. i wonder if after posting this they'll start buying adwords.

we'll see...
