Muncie Free Press is Back

Well, we're back up ... finally. I wrote about it a little on the site here. Got one donation from a user. As soon as we transfer it to my control/name at GoDaddy, it's going on auto-renew. Believe me. Lesson learned.

There is some fallout, but I don't want prying eyes to know what it is ... yet. I think we can do damage control tomorrow.

I really thought the post would come out different on MFP, but that may be because during the "sabbatical" while MFP was down, I watched the HBO series Rome and was all caught up in the grandiose politics of that era.

In any case, MFP is back and damage wasn't as bad as it could have been. I move forward now with a renewed sense of passion. Year three begins soon and I'm ready.

In other news, someone I emailed at MySpace posted some car show pics at Hoosier Car Shows, first of many new niche sites. For as young as the site is, I'm happy with the traffic and participation so far. Time on site is over 10 minutes, which is great.

Have a few other ideas we're working on as well.

Is anyone ever going to talk to me about what I'm doing here in the Midwest? Have questions? (Actually, I think I owe someone an email ... heh. sorry...)
