Of Content and the Community

I have two pieces of content from members of the AFP website (members of the AFP community...) that I'm working on adjusting for print. This process is going to need to be streamlined a lot over the next few weeks, but for now it's great working with people in the community to get information about topics they're interested in ou there.

I also have a locally produced crossword puzzle. Another member is going to help try to get obits compiled for the printed edition.

On the web side, I have an interview with Mayor Ockomon on Wednesday. I think I'm going to pull some quotes from that and print them with a pointer to the video.

Still trying to track down the police chief for his next interview. Last I heard he was happy with the interview and wanted to do another. Having trouble getting on his schedule, though.

That's the problem - so many things to do.

I'm doing it, though, with the help of the community.

Speaking of them, we had another in-person meet-up last Friday. About 3 members (and some family in addition to that) showed up. People I hadn't met before. I got to talk about the site and print edition with them. They were clear in what they wanted from their local media. Now to deliver.

Anyway, some more thoughts. Talk to me world.
