Can KRON Save Local TV News from Itself?
Submitted by sbaradell on Mon, 12/19/2005 - 11:01am.Media Orchard has an interview with Brian Shields, online manager and chief blogger at KRON-TV in San Francisco, regarding some of the company's innovative Media 2.0 initiatives. Says Brian:
"Ask anyone outside our industry and they'll tell you, local television news SUCKS ... I believe that KRON is the most exciting place to be in local television news in the entire country. We are either going to save the industry, or drive the final nail in the coffin. Either way, it's a great place to witness history."

very good piece on KRON
It's funny, but I was just talking about negativity in my last blog post. Grade the News does seem to be 'not that happy' about what sounds to be a pretty cool idea. (I wish I had the money for Muncie Free Press to give away even two digital video cameras! Heh.)
